Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Some photos from the summer. Seems to be the only time I'm actually inspired to take pictures.

I participated in a musical collaboration project over the weekend. There was a pool of 30+ players and 10 engineers. "Bands" were assembled by pulling names from a hat. We then had one day to write, record, and mix a song. The results will be released on CD in February as Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly #11.

Here's the result from my group's session.

Here's an arty shot I took during recording. Other shots from the day are here.
