dont forget the needless justification of someones aesthetic choices by saying " X rides a bagillion times harder and faster than all of you on the street with no brakes... blindfolded... eating tacos"

Sammyboy 06-27-06 08:26 AM

I like that wheel. It's stupid, but I still like it. I need my function every day, but form is nice sometimes too. Funniest forum of all to be slamming people for style........

Panasonic make good bikes and track frames.

I will keep my first one til I die it is over 20 yrs old, It has been everywhere and done alot.

I may keep the red/burgandy NJS one now since nobody want to but it.

I may get the chance to finally ride it after I get back on the bike.

Sashae, We will both have a NJS Panasonic.LOL

Yep, they really are. It's like that here. Somebody building a bike they don't like or understand is taken as a personal insult. I like your wheel though, it's redunkulously cool and impractical.

Landgolier 06-28-06 01:48 PM

This thread continues to be awesome. Also, working in fashion and not caring what other people think are mutually exclusive. Discuss...

Loooty 06-28-06 01:56 PM

We've talked about this before.

The problem is that coolness has to appear effortless; it has to look inherent since trying is something everyone can do.

However, chasing cool is really hard and the restraint needed to make it look easy only encourages hemorrhoids and hernias.

So, whatever you do, don't grunt, not matter how heavy the lifting is. And if you are crying your cool-self to sleep, make sure to muffle the sobs with your sleeve.

les walters 06-28-06 03:45 PM

i really cant wait tell his online shop is up i think it looks cool plus id rock that bike get a laid back seat post and ditch the wheel

One year on, and that seat tube is still ridiculous.
