Who is to blame really? Mr. Matsush.ita?

Him and his ridiculous ideas about bicycles...

funny how one remembers threads like this.

sorry, i'm contributing to its continuing ressurection.
sorry again.

I like quite a bit of the stuff I saw on their site. I wasn't into the polaroid photobook thing. I'm not into the seat tube on that bike, but I think it's sexy. I'm going to look for this shop when I stop through Baltimore.

andypants 06-22-07 07:29 AM

crap, I forgot it's 07. TRICKED!

Landgolier 06-22-07 01:22 PM

I propose we bump this thread annually to check up on whether these clowns are still into bikes, or if they've moved on to some other trend. Seems like they're still on the wagon for now, my bet is some bike stuff in '08, new fad in '09

eddiebrannan 06-22-07 01:35 PM

clowns? oliver (the then owner of that panasonic) owns a great bike store, organizes races and donates killer prizes. he can ride his ass off, holds baltimore down, and represents hard for fixed gear cycling and the community.

what do YOU do?

Landgolier, so you gonna bump this next year and make yourself look like an ass again?

Yes, next year's bump will feature me wearing this awesome hoodie I picked up in Baltimore:

That bike is a slick representation of that kind of bike but I'll pass. . .

i don't know. why don't you post a picture of you and your bike and we'll talk about it some more

Jonny Pockets 06-22-07 03:26 PM

I think he looks nice. Unless his shorts were made from thread which was created using the skin of your first born, I think you may be over-reacting.

WakeUpOnFire 06-22-07 03:27 PM

Let's see, tomorrow Shop Gentei is hosting what seems like it will be a rather large and serious race in Baltimore. A few weekends ago Oliver and a few others went to, and did fairly well in, the courier championships in SF. It seems like they are still into bikes.

dmotoguy 06-22-07 03:44 PM

Jesus.. lots of you guys hate on everything. I could post a pic up of your bike and you would hate on it.

doofo 06-22-07 04:21 PM

you should bump this thread annually

but not to check on the clowns

its hilarious

and that wheel is damn shiny

blandyack 06-22-07 07:47 PM

Dag, had no idea this forum got so roller-derby. Wish I'd enlisted way back. Sooo looking forward to when like 50 million folks ride fg and everybody's just over the whole thing. All this "high priests of the sacred order of 48-16" poo is like beat to death and back already. (Anybody old enough to remember when punkrock was like the ****ing crusades? Posers catching wreck for haircuts? Feels kinda familiar...)
Sorry I got no witty quote or cool pictures. I'm a half-wit and don't understand computers either.
