Sweet, but teleporting to SF would be pointless since it's about 5 miles away from here.

Military IV's release tomorrow.

I thought all the kids were doing aero front 650's since there is more supply than demand for those things, so you can pick up a cheap cool-looking front and just slap an old 650 fork on it to have a sick-looking ride.

Or am I imagining things, and people are actually paying ridiculous prices to have a pretend pursuit bike?

no cons, not to many real pros, either...it's a bike, it rides like a bike. no toe overlap, but the wheelbase was super tight. i dunno, it was fun to ride, but it was the most ridiculous and impractical bike that i had, so i let it go. I'd recommend it, it's fun...never had any pedal strike...and as far as being expensive, i paid $60 for the wheel and $30 for the fork, so it was pretty cheap.

it's funny, after all the $ and time building this bike i some times just want to slam it up against the wall, it's like a demon to me.

It's going to have a huge effect on the geometry 5+ degrees is a huge change. Unless the the fork has substantially less rake(it will probably have a little) how could you create overlap by putting a smaller wheel on.

650s look cool on a lot of bikes, but it has no real benefits beside the bar spins, in which case every should have flatland bikes to do a lot cooler ****.

does steeper mean more vertical position of the fork?? mmy fork has no rake, its inline with the head tube so my head tube is 74-75 deg, thats what my fork is now.

you head tube was 75-75 before you changed it right?

Its now closer to 80 probably.

What fork did you get with 0 rake by the way?

yes it does it means closer to vertical. When you dropped the front of your bike you steepened all the angles by 5+ degrees. Your zero rake fork(which one) counter balanced this in some senses as far as handling goes.

Didnt mean to Jack this topic but was just wondering about your guys opinions about putting a 650c front wheel for the sole reason that i have really bad toe overlap?

maybe sell your bike and get something with more relaxed geometry. if you're not riding track, and the toe overlap is getting too annoying, then I dont really see much of a reason to have a track frame. what are you riding?
