Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Here's my mini-dachsund.

And this is a local that me and some friends apprehended a few weeks ago. We're all ecology/forestry majors, so don't call PETA or anything.

this thread continues to affirm my belief that dogs, and cats, are far better than people.

Lexi's my dog back at home, I'll always be loyal to her even if she's not a bike fan. Just too damn cute.

Smudge is my roommate's cat. She's currently intensely interested in the seat tube on the Apollo - my soon-to-be-fixed-gear bike.

She's a Whippet, on the smaller end of the whippet scale, though still much bigger than an Italian Greyhound. Italian Greyhounds are tiny!

I hated little dogs until I got to know this guy. Toby the Chihuahua. I have never met a dog with a more distinct personality. Technically it's my gf's dog, but he's basically "ours".

Covers pulled back (he like to burrow when sleeping)_______ He's sulking b/c I disturbed him.

The requisite 'dog-in-a-bag' pic. ____________________ A lucky timing pic, cool.
