Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? i still have money it cant be done.. who wants to bet? especially on that bike.. the front fork would take too much of the energy

can someone do the math of how much force it would take to boost a 160 lb stoker over the top? thats a pretty big lever... im not believer

If the back rider tried to do the biggest bunnyhop in the world at just the right moment then his weight would be minimized as far as leverage is concerned.

160 lbs is almost an average-sized dude... why can't we have a smaller person (110 or 120) to make the deal a little more fun?

Better yet, have the guys at Mythbuster to do it. Nevermind, they would probably use their crash test dummy as the stoker.

sure.. get a 120 lb dude.. as for the bunnyhop.. think about it..

theyd have to continue the bunnyhop as tall as the tandam is from the seat to the front wheel..like 6 or 7 ft? I donnt think anyone can bunnyhop that high.. especially half a bike.. and once their weight starts coming back down..like i said.. thats a big ass lever

maybe it can be done.. but i wont believe it till i see it

it only counts if somebody gets hurt.

i want mythbusters to do the myth of "if you put soap/an orange/insert object here into a sock and hit osmebody, it doesn't leave bruises. i have a feeling they will turn that one down though.

Now I just need to know, is this going to be done on level grown? Would going downhill with enough speed be cheating?
