I have a chain ring and cog with a chain going around them on my left calf. Its not done yet but its whatever. Went to the tat place and their prices were rediculous. 200 dollars to get just the little black bull on my ankle. Like 1.5 inch by 1.5 inch. Totally laughable.

Dude, tattoos are expensive. You pay for what you get.
I have an idea, why don't you get your first tattoo finished before adding?
edit: not to mention something tiny means the artist needs to concentrate a lot more on the detail. Either that or they hated the idea and didn't want to do it, so they quoted you high. Artists do that a lot.
