Dude, they totally stole skate goat and put wheels on him!
And I think you should get a "Triplets of Belville" sleeve.

I meant more of a collage and was joking because he wants something small. but awesome for you. I don't think its really 'your' idea, I mean, I'm sure there are plenty of people who have thought/acted on that before.
DR- Get whatever you would like. Personally, I think both of those tattoos are completely tasteless, ugly, boring, and lame. You might think differently. Make yourself happy, not the SSFG bike community.

Also, OP, I don't know that getting a tattoo just for the sake of getting a tattoo is such a good idea. I did that when I turned 18, and now I have a bunch of stupid tattoos. Fortunately I've continued to get stupid tattoos since that time, so they kind of blend in, but when you have to look at the same thing every single day for forever, it better be pretty.

As for the original poster, I think this

is better, or even a tattoo of a cog, or Times New Roman, 12-point letters that say "Look at me, everyone! I often ride two-wheeled pedalcycles."

If you're going to get a tattoo that small, please don't get it in a space designed for larger tattoos (like on your leg). it looks awful.
p.s. details don't hold up well in small tattoos

Absolutely true. In fact, don't go small at all. Unless it's on the small of your back, then you're on your own.
If you must go small, go with a foot tat.

+1 on smudgy details on small tattoos. especially that picture ... the writing in yellow on a black background would not work well.
and seriously get something you want and don't rush into it. think about it for a while and if you still want the same thing in a few weeks, or even better a few months, then get it.

I have the "Le Tour" logo on the back of one calf to mark my awesome trip there in '04 to see Lance break the record.

Calves are for huge tattoos though, I agree.
