Peter Bundy frames
This is about the only frame I can afford in Aus, so I need to know whether its worth getting.

Decent framebuilder, nothing spectacular. That is newer than the PB frames I'm familiar with though. Quite short!

One just wonders why it's freshly powdercoated. The dreaded c-word comes to mind... I'd think about whether the seller is reliable.
I mean, why choose an arbitrary colour and powdercoat it when you're gonna sell it as a frameset, not complete? Unless it's been crashed and repaired and I want to cover that up, I'd leave it as is and let the buyer decide what colour they want.
It looks nice though.

You've never seen a repainted vintage frame before? There's any number of reasons why it could've been powdercoated, and while hiding crash-related sketchiness is probably one of them I would say it's less than unlikely in this case with this particular seller.

Also, how is aheadset pronounced? a-headset? ah-eatset? aheat-set?

a-headset. I didnt mean I hated all brand name dropping... just that one in particular, for the very reason youre asking about... when you pronounce it, it sounds like "a headset" which on the fly is much less descriptive than "threadless headset" especially when I think youre just saying "hey you! I need a headset" and im like "what size? threaded or not?"

The guy was actually discussed here on the forums (I know, I know... but a simple search for the builder's name would have solved this).
+1 on the seller being a 'good bloke'... somewhat of a scallywag, but definitely a straight shooter. Ask him about the frame if you have any questions.
