Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I already posted pics in the fixed bike pics sticky, but I thought I would post again in the risers thread. It is a Norco frame and fork or unknown era, formula hubs, goldfinger brake lever.. Nothing fancy but I was able to buiild her up for under $250.

i've been running my risers conventionally but i just switched to this. loving it x1000000. never seen anyone else do it either. the trouble is, those bars are so damn wide (50cm) and you can't really cut much more off without sacrificing comfort.
