The bars are now chopped to 40cm & the seat is on a more comfy angle...

just put some freebies on my beater. still looking for the perfect pair for my good bike. i rode bullhorns for a while, but love the feel of risers better. found it easier to stand at the lights with them for some reason.

Just added some temporary purple risers from a Walmart bike in a dumpster. Chopped with a hacksaw and smoothed with a bench grinder.

Keep your eye on ebay, I think a white one was up there a week or two ago. Love the Turbo.

Got it 2 weeks ago, replaced the soma drops with these risers that came in the mail today. Cheapy ones from JensonUSA and Ourys (still slippy because the alcohol hasn't dried yet)

dude. those red grips look great! (i used rubber cement to install my grips... worked great!)

wallah 06-11-07 10:38 PM

I love the look of risers too, but I like to chop my flat bars to 48 or 46cm....can you chop risers this much and still have a full grip on the flat part of the bar? Those who have posted pictures....How wide are your risers?

wallah 06-11-07 10:44 PM

I hear people saying they use hacksaws to cut down their bars. This tool should be in your box http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/produ...seBVCookie=Yes It makes a fast, clean and very smooth cut. I got mine at Home Depot

CCCCCCC 06-12-07 08:26 AM

is this the reiser fan club?
