Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Wondering if I should feel bad about just taking a dump in the bathroom when the water for the entire building is shut off for the next 8 hours.

The Receiver and Brainbow are notable artist from C-bussssssss.

Also, go see Mouth of the Architect the next time they're playing in town. They're from Dayton, but play in Columbus quite a bit.

Deciding if I need to eat or take a nap, and which order to do both.
Decompressing from a long shift at work. I know there are a lot of younger people here, but really, is there something happening with today's 21 year olds that makes them UNABLE to show up on time?

My mountain bike's front tire is on backwards I should flip it, but I kind of like the buzz sound it makes.

Thinking about the fact I need new cones, bearings and a new 13mm cone wrench to get my fixie on the road.

Getting ready to pack for a weekend in SoCal that starts with a plan ride tomorrow morning. Just got back from my second LBS visit of the day to resolve a flat caused by sh*te factory rim tape (that thin plastic kind, yuck). Can't wait to be in OC for a couple days with the fam and doing some karate. Shotokan for life, suckas.

And that first post is making me jones for a Dr. Pepper like whoa.

what kind of bike do you ride around here dude? i've probably seen it around somewhere. although, since the weather broke, there's all kinds of new fixies i haven't seen before.
