Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I just stopped by Yojimbo's to visit with Marcus and bought a few things (geared stuff...). Now I await hunger so I can get cheap Thai and then meet good peeps before going to see Battles.

If you are referring to the band, their new album is fantastic, I can only imagine how they would perform live.

Reading a thread called 'What are you doing RIGHT NOW' on bikeforums.net.

I just got back from lunch with Ryan - we were discussing the fun world of engineering project management and why my wife doesn't hang out with her university friends anymore. I really should go and start building up my new Rob Roy frame, although i don't have a seatpost for it. I can also build up the old Axis, now that I have tires for it [75% discount at MEC FTW!!!].

I'm wearing my old skull skate LS shirt, some brown cords, brown socks and whatnot.

oh, and i have a red fixed gear mountain bike that's rideable now, but i don't feel like taking out as much, because i still have some work to do on it.

you can make a compromise by going vegan, then deep frying everything. works pretty well for me!

Fusions are lighter, cost less, and are easily strong enough for the street.
