Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm trolling the hell out of some fools in the helmet and brake threads.

Thank goodness I read this before typing up a scathing rebuttal of your ludicrous statement about "minimum standards of safety" in automobiles in the brake thread. Good work; you almost had me, you scamp!

I'm finishing the meeting minutes for a design review I went to two weeks ago. My company's design for the runway landing lights at an east coast airbase is almost complete, so we met with these Air Force dudes who know loads about airfield lighting and they told us what's good, what's bad, and what to do if your constant current regulator is all f'ed up.

But what fun is typing stuff about a nerdy meeting when you can have internets show-and-tell with the bf-ers? Yay.

drinking coffee I got this AM from All Saints Cafe, in my Religion and Psychology class, waiting for 18 days 7 hours till my graduation from FSU, and reading through bfssfg threads, and watching stuff on eBay. Also hoping I sell my iSight cam today ($150 + S/H for those interested) as it will pay off my cc debt, and will put me back in the green (where I plan to stay until I buy the parts for my bfssfg iro)

Putting off checking people's references, stalling on 6 applications and possibly hiring 2 people as soon as I get not lazy enough to pick up the phone and call them.

I'm a great HR guy...

Bikes: so many

I'm supposed to be figuring out why customer phone numbers are showing up instead of account numbers an automated billing report I wrote, but instead I'm staring at my tallbike contemplating adding a forward set of cranks to drive the front wheel in addition to the regular ones. I'm also posting to this thread, obviously. After I click "post quick reply" I'm going to lunch.

They flood us so bad with the damn things that by the time the show airs the last thing you want to do is watch it. Glad someone is enjoying it!
