Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I want to ride my bike in the shower while drinking beer. Then when I'm done riding I'll have a beer in the shower. And then my bike will drink a beer.

Apparently it makes good shampoo too. My neighbor swears by it, but I can ever bring myself to waste good beer to wash my hair. Some people will actually add a few pints to the bath water. It should be a dark beer of some kind too.

Not sure what tipped the scales, but I certainly agree that this thread has reached levels that others fear to tread.

somebody once asked me what my favorite beer was. i had to say that it was that first one in the morning, with the hot water from the shower streaming down on me and that cold cold brew in hand. the great thing is that it allows you to let your mind wander and not have to be so task oriented so early in the morning. wash a little of this, sip sip, wash a little of that, sip sip. by the time you finish your beer, you're done with your shower. no need letting the worries of the day creep into your mind before you even get your clothes/drunk on.

this thread has inspired me to stop being a ***** (which is a recognized word by Firefox's spell check, by the way) and start drinking dark beer. I think my room-mates would be bummed out if I put a beer shelf in the shower, as there is still a hole in the wall above the toilet from the last time I was in the bathroom with beer...

beast ice makes me a terrible person.

brandy is pretty delicious warm, might start pouring a !!!PAUSE PAUSE GREAT IDEA JUST HIT!!!! SIPPY CUPS!!! SIPPY CUP OF BRANDY!!! YES YES YES!!!!!! A new era!
