Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A damn shame, indeed.

inspired by this thread, i enjoyed a red stripe in the shower today, after getting soaked downtown all day and in a bit of a hurray to meet the old lady at the library, i threw a redstripe in a complimentary mongoose beer coozie, and kept it on the windowsil that my old-as-dirt shower goes up against, call me a poser/copycat or whatever, it did save me about 8 minutes of meandering around my apt drinking a beer.....i dunno if i'll do it again only if i'm pressed for time or forgot i had a beer in my hand and decided to take a shower

First time I walked into the bathroom to shower with a beer and my girlfriend saw she said nothing more than, "Huh.." Now she asks if I want one.

And I love her...

i mean she goes to an art school, so all efforts are vain unless they result in some cool points....it very well could have been purchased under the fascade as new pbr

Always like beer in the shower, this is a nightly routine for me. While the bj suggestion is a good one if it's offered, the only thing in my book that could improve the experience is having the shower outdoors. Sun beating down on you, or a midnight shower looking at the stars with a beer in hand is awesome. I do this every chance I get, which is maybe once every year or two.

Shower beer, coffee and whiskey are definitely some of the best things in life. And after reading all the way through this thread I really want a shower beer, or scotch, too bad shower day only comes on Saturdays.
