awesome. that will look fresh.
get an old nitto or cinelli stem. they're findable.
and uh, tires and grips are kind of personal choice but i like ourys and yetis, and gatorskins or michelins. pedals are also personal choice but i have sylvan tracks and i wish i had gr-9s.
i finally found a saddle that i love and won't rip apart the second jeans hit it:

I'm really having a hell of a time finding a stem that will work, 1" steerer tube, with 25.4 bar clamp diameter...

You could always use a 1 1/8" stem with a shim.
https://www.universalcycles.com/shopp...p?category=176
Soma Shotwell stem includes a shim, but that site will have a stem that will suit you.

Yeah, I actually just looked back at my PMs from scrod and getting a 1 1/8 + a shim is what he suggested. Time to choose!

I should remind you that Velo Orange makes a very lovely 25.4mm stem.

Just ordered;
-a gold finger brake lever
-a brake caliper (I know the wheel set I got is non-machined, the guy at the LBS said I could use it on a non-machined rim, not too good for it, but it can be done. I don't plan on using the brake too often, but I put it on there for emergencies- so I'm ok with the non-machined front rim. Thoughts on this? lol)
-a set of white 700x23 tires (kinda cheapo ones, for now)
-a set of MKS GR-9s
-a set of MKS alloy tow clips
-a set of VP comp. toe straps
-an Azonic Barretta stem (1 1/8 w/ a shim)
-a set of white oury grips
NOW I HAVE TO WAIT!!!! GAHHH

This is my partner in crime, her name is Antonella.
My bike is one of those bikes that give mixed opinions. Some of you are either going to really like it or think she is just plain ugly. All comments are welcomed.

Back wheel reminds me of watermelon.
Painfully average.
so i have this 20$ eighth inch coupon and i'm wondering if I should upgrade my stock wheel set (pretty much brand new still) to the eighth inch tessa old wheel set https://www.cyclingcloseouts.com/Prod...essa_Gold.aspx
or upgrade my stock drops to eighth inch bullhorns.. https://www.cyclingcloseouts.com/Prod...orn_Black.aspx
I'd only be spending 120 for the wheels.. or like 5 bucks of the bullhorns.. lmao
What do you guys think? I feel like I could sell my wheelset for like 120 still or something.

well i decided to get the 1/8" bullhorns.. what's the difference between a 40cm width and a 42cm width?
just overall wider? what would you recommend for someone who never tried bullhorns on a 50cm kilo?

Normally you choose the bar width to be the same as your shoulder width.

I would say 40cm
Painfully average.
edit: just to be sure (i'm pretty sure) you measure shoulder to shoulder right?

Yes, from where your left arm attaches to where your right arm attaches. When your hands are on the bars, your outstretched arms should be parallel.
