As I clarified in my previous post, I see a difference b/w saying something about a bike and saying something about a person.

lol obviously. Who doesn't? I saw one of those 2002? Pistas (the black ones w/ celeste decals) sell on ebay for like $450 (frame only!). Most likely b/c it's celeste. I had a black and celeste vintage Bianchi that I sold I hope to have another celeste bike sometime in the future. It's beautiful.

i think the comment about putting a 1 1/8 headset on the bike was more offensive than pedalling's comments LULZ joooooooking.

it wasnt a personal attack, he just said he didnt like the color. this thread is about kilo discussion. you cant really have much of a quality discussion without sharing (some times dissenting) opinions.

I don't see too many 1" ones out there.

Can anyone tell me how the Kilo TT is on rough surfaces? I am looking for a single speed to use locally and unfortunately in Chicago we are covered in potholes, curbs, and just rough terrain in general? Also I come from a history of mountain bikes and bmx bikes so looking for something that can be ridden aggressively and like the bikes direct prices so is this the right bike for me or should I look elsewhere?

It can hurt! Its really stiff. If you hit a pothole in the dark, you will know it.
Really nice to ride though... so responsive.

I ride all over the Chicago area and the Kilo is just fine. I do run 700x28 which helps a bit with the larger bumps. IMHO, the Kilo delivers a nice, smooth ride.
