no more arione.
well, it's on the cross frame now.
i like this san marco. it's snazzy. and i love the look.
it's basically got two positions, top of the spade and in the pocket on the front. feels good, man.

Did you match the background to the color of your bike? If so, nice
Bike looks good. Not showing off, but still looking spiffy. Not standing out, but unique for sure. And nice sized tires to really mash around on. Sweet!

totally matched the colors of the background to the frame and seat tube angle. silver green and bronze/wood. i'm a nerd.
the cinelli fork was great but the tange headset was *****UUUCKED. like, the fork would stop spinning and come to rest in the pitted surfaces when the fork was straight in the frame. it was bad. i only half miss threaded, part of me likes the new school look of threadless on a kilo.
also, i just bought a ton of ****y Origin 8 parts on amazon for this bike. like, a ton of money. like, enough to the point where i should just start putting money away on a "titanium custom" fund and sell this bike on ebay for whatever i can get, instead of spending what i'm spending on this bike.
i have some silver cxp-22s i'll lace up at some point, probably for super cheap as i don't want to sell this wheelset. i just can't keep myself from spending money on this bike.
as a little bit of a tease:
when that box arrives there will be nothing black left on the bike apart from the saddle and stem... don't get excited though because everything that's going on is budget and silly.

there've been a few builds in this thread that keep me coming back. it takes a sort of artistic license to built up a straight up PLAIN, BLACK(or other color, whatever), BORING frame... and make it look good. i like that. it demonstrates a level of finesse that half the cats buying undersized keirin frames have. keep on that ****. **** the people that incite the whole "polishing a turd" philosophy... it's a piece of metal, make it work for you.

Conti Gatorskin folding F/ Conti GP4000S Rear tires (no skids nemore..)
MKS GR9 pedals/ckc DD cage/ MKS straps
Flip/chop bars (tried many different bars, including RB021, stocks, and others, but still now, I like the flip/chop the most yet)
Cane Creek R200 bar-end lever
Brooks B-17 black
Dimension 80mm stem (nice ~$25 stem IMO)

I would put the GP 4000S on the front and Gatorskins on the back. Makes more sense that way...sort of.

picked this crazy thing up recently. only took 3 days shipping! the fork is powdercoated over chrome and the powder looks like s**t! crazy orange peel towards the rear of the fork legs and chipped away paint near the brake holes. if it bothers me too much i might just strip the fork.
i took the kashimax seat off of it and changed the cranks to omniums. not a bad bike for the price. i was also able to fit 32's all around (without front brake)!
close up paint shot. the color is pretty wacky.
