Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I think it's still got some kinks, but it looks interesting. Honestly, I go back and forth between rfs and ext3 and was just making a bad pun .

I don't know. I have real schwinn late 60's stingray bars and one time I put them on my bike upside down. They were the ghetto-est track drops ever.

I was riding to the grocery store the other day and someone yelled "get some real handlebars!" from their car as they passed me.

Bikes: , Jury Bike, Moto Outcast 29, Spicer standard track frame and spicer custom steel sprint frame.

let me explain I have two fixed gears one for cruising and messing around with friends (this bike has risers and a lower gear ratio) wheelies skids tricks what have you (if it sets you at ease my risers are mounted to a zero drop stem with at the top of an uncut steerer for comfort and just having fun)

I also have a pure bred track bike with drops

besides stop *****ing about other peoples' bikes and ride your own

The animated gif in your sig messes with my mind.

By the way, I have a riser bar on my beater, and now I like it so much I'd hate it if someone stole it. So, now I don't have a beater bike.

slightly OT.. but,

by chance was it your scafoid bone?

that thing never really heals correctly. 8 months later, mine still hurts like hell when i tattoo for more than 3 hours.

thats generally the bone that breaks when you land on an outstretched hand.. usually from a bike or skateboard fall.

There are so many things in the world that are worth debating. This is not one of them. Yall gonna start making people who ride risers sit at the back of the bus too?

I'm running risers for the time being. My back is pretty messed up and the risers sweep does make it much easier for ME to ride. I like my drops and will probably run them again when I heal. I know I won't be mistaken for a hipster because I wear a helmet and I'm too old to give a sh*t about fashion.

This works for me and it was a super cheap (free) mod.

I personally don't care what people run, I just like to see them riding period. I guess I don't have time to hate... unless it's the french. (just kidding.)
