I used a Salsa 30mm collar.

ok, so, wierd ass question. Does anyone on here:

-live in DC?
-ride a blue 56/59 IROBFSSFGOMFGWTFBBQ?
-Have two aerospokes?
-Hang out in Dupont Circle?

It is such a wierd feeling seeing these GB frames around the city

estratton 08-04-07 05:21 PM

So a kinda random question...

Anyone rocking fenders of anykind on their gb iro. if so, what kind, and have ya had any problems. I kinda want to get some as I got a stripe of sand up my back last week from riding in the rain and runoff from construction.

it was exactly as it sounded and I will probably never see it again.

maybe it's just me but every time I see a GB frame I look at it with some weird sense of pride.

I thought it was cool when I saw one build in front of my school and was talking to a friend about how mine was going to be similar. Never seen it since.

Cheapie build. I have a hockey stick style chainguard I want to put on there as well, but since I'm riding the bike I figure it's post-able. Key details: B-17 saddle, bar-end bell that you twist to ring, no quick release nothing, and Power Grips with the straps swapped to hide the ********-ass logo.

I bet that thing is a wheelie monster!

I had that pump for YEARS. It finally crapped out and now I have a new Topeak Joe Blow since I got it cheap @ the PTjerb

I know there are more SE IRO's out there! Mine is coming soon.

Psydotek 08-06-07 07:33 PM

I finally got the front wheel done for mine so i won't have one purple and one black wheel anymore. Just gotta get around to taking new pics...

bonechilling 08-09-07 09:31 AM

I already cannibalized by IRO SE for parts. I might just end up selling it - too many bikes!

dmotoguy 08-09-07 09:56 AM

anybody have a link to the online bike builder thing.. i wanna try to see if I'm making good decisions on my parts..

what color is that? i don't think i've seen that shade in velocity before...

hazylines 08-09-07 11:44 AM

Looks like its just an orange/machined rim. In any case, I just got the rest of my build money together, Im pretty excited to ride this thing.

somnambulant 08-09-07 11:53 AM

Finally got around to ordering my drivetrain parts this morning.. hopefully I'll have them by the end of next week. Now all I need to buy is everything except the frame/cranks/chainring/cog/handlebar/bb. ;)

weird lighting.. I find those rims are usually retina-burning bright (in a good way).

lvleph 08-09-07 05:00 PM

Well, I have purchased all my parts, but it will be 3 weeks before my wheels are built and shipped to me. It will be at least a week for my other parts to show up. I will definitely post when it is done.

chase. 08-09-07 07:20 PM

definitely going to have a build frenzy on saturday now that all my parts are together. Probably going to end up changing several things, but the test build will be posted with the quickness.
