Da Damn Easter Bunny keeps visiting
So i have been working on truing my first wheelset build and i can get it so there is no woble what so ever but i cant seem to get rid of the damn hop. Is there any good secret or do i just need more patience and keep going at it?

If'n I had to guess, and I do, I'd say you are overtightening the spokes. Keep doing small turns of the wrench all the way around. Small turns. If it hops, loosen and start over.

You do realize that looking along the spoke from hub to rim, you need to turn the nipple anti-clockwise to tighten the spoke? A lot of people don't realize this.

Loosen the spokes and start over. It's a pain to get a hop out and the wheel probably won't be right once you do because all of the spokes are probably already too tight. Tighten the nipples slower this time and take them up evenly.
