Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

My friend David's bike. It is scrappy as all hell. sometimes has a carbon fiber front wheel with wood paneling sticker on it. I think he had to reweld the head tube and everything at some point

you'll notice in the comments Aeroplane (who I think is a user here) even refers to it as a Mad Max bike...and this is last year

Is it just me or do many of these bikes not seem like they fit the Mad Max category? I mean have you guys seen Mad Max?

This bike most certainly fits.

And oh god this fits.

This one is decent.

This one is border line.

Yeah, I pretty much plan to use it to impale pedestrians. Truth is, I had this orange frame, and these bullhorns, and I just wanted to make something. That was a year ago. At some stage, I'll finish.

I guess I should mention that the OP did want to see beat up bikes. I just wanted to clarify what I thought was a "Mad Max" bike.
