Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Bikes: 2017 All City Space Horse, 2015 Jamis Dragonslayer, 2016 Velo Orange Pass Hunter Disc, 1991 Tommasini Competizione, 2018 Soma Wolverine fixed gear, 1996 Diamondback Outlook w/Crust Clydesdale, 1999 Torelli Corsa Strada (Coaster Brake Conversion ;] )

A few years ago for Halloween I was a road warrior character with this sweet little banana seat bike that I rode mad max quotes all over. I need to get that bike back, a friend left it with his old roommates

It looked just like the bike 2 posts up but was black with a yellow rear fender

Why have I never seen track grips on risers? That looks nice.

You seriously missed the point of this thread if you think THAT bike is "Mad Max."

You must be thinking Road Warrior(MMII) The MFP cars(As seen in MM. The Falcon(Maxs car) and Monaro(stolen by the NightRider) were built up using the best hotrod parts fitted to the best chassis that could be found(A piece from here, a piece from there). That is what this bike is(still built from mostly used parts). Now if you want a Road Warrior(MadMaxII) bike then I have a Haro, built using free ****, that gets the job done.

No, but ive seen a lot of hippies riding talk bikes and thats all i need to know.
I think the social rule is that if you see a lot of dirty hippies doing something, avoid at all costs.

I think there's a key difference between dirty hippie and crust punk that you're not aware of.

Do these 'crust punks' wear tie-dyed shirts?
Because ive seen a number of tie-dyed shirts perched atop tall bikes.

I saw two tye-dyed ones in TN. I was kind of afraid.
In SF i saw a few tall bikes in the park and they looked hippie as well.
Maybe im generalizing. Of course, theyre not all hippies, i pray.
