Time for a new frame

Time for a new frame
So what I'm looking for is a lugged steel track frame. preferably new Japanese/Italian.
I was thinking of the debernardi, but it looks like the red is all gone, and I can't do blue (white/red/silver/black would be great).
What are my options as far as places to look?

it still doesn't tell me where i'd even buy a thing like that, assuming i was going to spend few grand on a build (having a colnago and not having a record groupo would be a sin, i know this)
it seems that other than the small handful of used NJS frames on ebay, iros, pistas, bare/brass knuckle etc. i'm having a hard time finding mid/high-range steel track frames, especially new.
i was thinking more cinelli than colnago

why do you want new?
you're gonna have to drop a lot of money for a new italian or japanese track frame. order a custom kalavinka or panasonic.
i think DeBernardi is out of business.
i would buy used.
i woulda bought this if it were my size.

Thinking that a colnago without campy is a sin is idiotic.

What about a custom Bob Jackson? You can make it pretty much however you want it.

I not sure that new is way to go either and I'm all about new but....
I just got this complete bike (Pinarello) for half of what the colnago frame cost and it is completely campy and cinelli
right down to the sheriff star hubs.
And ,for a few hundred or so I could have the frams paint restored to brand new even with the original decals.
and its still would be cheaper than that frame and take less time than a kalavinka, and its Italian

I think Kalavinkas and the guys at the shop are great but id never buy one either.
Maybe you should try to contact some of the other NJS builders.
Like Maeda, Makino, Kiyo or Level. I know there are a few Americans that have had frames built by those guys.
I wouldnt sweat the translation issues that much. Numbers are numbers and if they dont feel like working with you, move on.

If you ask around, you might be able to get one of the new '08 Cinelli Supercorsa Pistas.
Word on the street is that they're doing an extremely limited run, though.
