Get her some clips too!
and probably want to have a bolted axle on that rear wheel. Just some suggestions. |
There's nothing wrong with the quick-release there. But yea, if it's fixed definately get her some clips & straps and pedals that make it easier to get into the clips.
All in all, very nice conversion. Loving the gumwall tires. |
like your wifes face much?
::sarcasm:: or is this a wifey face plant machine? oh just noticed that it is also a suicide rig..... dude get your wife a coater brake rear wheel she will love it and you for getting her it trust me |
haha he wants to kill his wife and make it look like a bike accident

If you really want to "sharpen" up the look of that bike, add some bullhorns.
With the bar ends facing up. With 3 inch metal spikes in them. |
Nice, but point those pursuit bars down a bit until the bar is level with the ground. then retake the pictures. then it will be a cool bike!!

A dremmel, rubbing compound, and your old undies do not count as "custom". Unless the part was made specifically for you (frame, fork, zinn cranks etc), it is not custom. Putting a big wing on a civic does not make it customized.

that bridgestone is awesome, those choped flatbars are beyond stupid, and stealing signs is mad lame.
|
Yeah, Deep V's on an NJS frame is getting beyond cliche, and it's all the same-old same-old elsewhere besides the seatpost, but hey, if it's fun for you than cool. I love my Bridgestone.

if it is did you dremmel out the dropouts? looks great by the way! |
+1 on that pink bike: best conversion ive seen (and great rattle can)
|
^^ It's a Fuji
|
Let me post the pics with the araya's tubies and b123's on the frame, then I can get the +1 back so I can have -8 total. Haha, not- I sold the araya rims I had to my friend and gave my superbe hubs to my brother since he got me some cranks.
Personally, I like the bullhorns and deep v's, I'm really not comfortable running tubulars or drops in blacksburg (or los angeles for that matter)- the bike lane debris and hills are beyond manageable so forget that njs track set up. I ride my bicycle and rideability and comfort are somewhat a priority- :p The flatbars on the pista are from a broke set of drops and the sign is from a construction job I had one summer. So boo on you. |

At the moment it is single speed (with just a front brake, I know, I know) but I'm going to be getting a fixed wheelset soon. The top tube is a few cm too short for me, hence the extra long stem. |
I posted it in the Pista thread but it's been since I bought the bike that it's been in here. saddle upgrade coming in the next few weeks. I could use some suggestions.
