mustache bars are great.
the only thing with that guy's setup is he's missing out on the best hand position (the top of the main bend) because he has track grips on. Actually, I meant to say these bars suck cause you can't barspin with them. |
Skatescool, I aspire to your level of awesomeness! Can you please give us some details about the bike: frame, components, etc... Well done.

An interesting factoid about the 3t stems: don't waste your money on the Team stem (unless you just want the red stripe), because it's no more than a couple of grams lighter than Pro stem...at least the 110mm length ones that I have on hand. I might move the Pro stem to this bike because I'm not sure I like the red on it. I thought it might work with the little red logo on the fork, but it's a bit much, really.

ok I just hate the Masi Soulville. I think I hate everything about it. At least this one doesn't have a v-brake.
on the other hand, I think SkatesCool has posted the most awesome bike currently in memory (although my memory for bikes only lasts 3-5 days at this point) |
Finally got my latest done, and this one's finally going to be a keeper (sold off the last two). Frame is an '86 Centurion Accordo, crank is Shimano 600, brakes are Shimano 105 single pivot aero's, SPD pedals, Shimano RSX front hub . . . . . . and tubular rims and tyres. Gearing is currently 42/17 fixed, 42/16 SS. I live in hilly country.
I added some vintage Blumel Popular mudguards as the bike is going to be my bad weather trainer, as possibly have a rack or two added as a fixed gear tourer. Urban riding is going to be minimal, probably the most use along those lines will be for my Saturday commute to work (20 miles each way). http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...Centurion1.jpg |

What irony? As I heavily collect vintage frames (well, as heavily as my funds will allow), I'm a religious believer in not cutting off braze-ons, hangers, etc. This frame was blasted and thinly powder coated. Period.
without that, the bike would be fine |
SkatesCool, that is one of the most beautiful bikes I think I've ever seen! The colors are perfect. 100% class. What is the frame?
|
skatescool, for a bike that looks like a lot of time has gone into making it look a certain way, you sure could've remembered to take the valve caps off.
and +1 for clips and straps. |
