Oh I can ride the bike just not with those cranks. The older Sugino Mighty Competition cranks for fine with it though. I wouldn't dare think about dremeling a part that carries my weight (I'm 190lbs). The material is there for a reason.
http://i647.photobucket.com/albums/u...g?t=1234142884 I emailed the builder so I'll see what he says about it. Rides amazing though |
god damn that is a sexy bike.

It's been a good bike so far...especially for one found in the woods. Going to get a new crankset and a nicer set of pedals/clips/straps in the near future, but no other major changes.

Part of me kinda wants to get a nice saddle to put on, but another part of me thinks that the stock piece is just too sexy. |
i've heard the stock masi saddle is uncomfortable, but then again everyone's ass is different.
I really like those masi's. they have one at my LBS that i want to test ride but it's too big. |

http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...r/IMG_0256.jpg For some reason, this picture reminds me of "No Country for Old Men", which makes me like the bike more than i usually like conversions. :thumb: |

I'd be interested in checking out some more saddles just to see what feels good and how much room for improvement there is in the way of comfort, but I think the stock one just looks so perfect that I don't think I'll replace it unless I find something that feels so much better that I absolutely must have it. |
