I picked it up for half-price at a local LBS. Sometimes customers swap saddles on purchase and you can take advantage. Check out your LBS's that sell Specialized, you may get a deal. |
The guy with the crazy MTB seems to use 2 sets o' pedals. The ones in the pic here look like SPD, the ones in the other thread... Not. So he's 50% suicidal or very slow.

Hotness.

The ultimate street bruiser? I think so.
The bars, and the angle of that shot make the bike. |

i basically made it completely out of nos parts from the bike shop i worked at over the summer and last semester. the only things i actually had to buy were the hubs, chain, read cog and lock ring, every thing else i got for free. the frame is a schwinn sprint which i have been told is one of the worst build frames coming from japan but free is free. the cranks are bianchi 170s, im not sure if they are like shimano 600 that were rebadged but i i dont think bianchi ever made cranks the hubs are suzue pro max with sealed bearings and sparkley stickers that i may take off the spokes are wheelsmith 296's in 15 guage the rims are ayara 700c in 32 hole my boy Bones who is the head mechanic at bethel cycle in ct built the wheels for me. he rocks by the way the seatpost is generic and cane with the frame as did the headset and the bottom bracket except i switched the spindle for a shorter shimano version. the rear cog is a dura ace 16t coupled with the 42t in the front that came on the bianchi cranks. the lockring is just a generic one i got from Action the seat is vetta and the stem is nitto, the bars are either ujin or kusuki, im not sure becuase i cant really read the lettering. the chain is a kmc 3/32. the front tire is a vierdstein and the rear is vittoria. the pedals are mks with avenir straps and toe clips. thats it http://image53.webshots.com/53/4/93/...5iaQLel_ph.jpg http://image53.webshots.com/153/5/3/...3WavKDk_ph.jpg http://image56.webshots.com/56/5/2/9...0HaeCDc_ph.jpg |

well, give me a reason to ride narrow tires that doesn't have to do with racing or fashion, and i'll reconsider.

2. Narrow tires can cut though snow instead of sliding on top. Fat tires have their benefits too, I realize. |

This is my Casati in an identity crisis sort of way. Not very well put-together at the moment.
Better photos to follow once I get a handle on my friend's camera and get the proper Italian components together. http://www.adamkell.com/misc/ivey.jpg |
Adam - very nice. I saw that in the Piccolo photos and was wondering when you were going to post that.
