gravityhurts 01-26-06 10:16 AM

yeah, what mf just said and -

it's true to it's roots too (no pun intended).

i've seen some real aw inspiring photos of "grass-track" racing taken from the early 1900s (england?)

having bit my local velodrome more than i care to admit - grass-racing would be welcomed; not to mention the fact that it just sounds fun. smoking grass... err, i mean, smoking across grass, no wait... i can't seem to remember what i was about to say... oh well, now where did i leave that bag of chips?

tiger woods... move it, or lose it!

thanks. I've had these for a while; keep your eye peeled for old trash day 3-speed bikes... especially American ones, as they often have these weird non-North Road steel bars. I think these came from some 1950-ish Sears or (gasp) huffy. There, my secret shame admitted. ;)

would be a great bike for the soma major taylor bars, too.

i bought a frame from the guy who wrote that article... mine's supposed to be a grass frame. there's been some talk about organizing some races in chicago. sounds uberfun.

and nice Panasonic! rugged yet classy.

by the looks of it, you my friend are the fixed gear rebel, or just riding the correct set up for your obviously inclement weather conditions...snow looks like alot of fun...
