Frame is from what seems to be an old Italian shopping bike, cost me £60 second hand.

I'm getting some wheels built for me at Gaerlan (SS with a BMX hub), and I should eventually be running 53:13.

It's designed as a hack bike for my 20 mile a day commute into Central London. I'm currently riding my Dahon Helios XX, but the Rolf wheels are a little delicate...

pretty sweet. i just found a worksman folder in red, looks a lot like yours, but the down tube sweeps into the seattube, kinda like a u. It had a tall stem and bars, so it really looks more like a lowrider, or really the fixed later on pg 30--unless that is yours post a bunch a work. Mine right now has three speed sturmey,w/o cable. i was thinking of fixing it when I get some dough. it is a blast to ride, wheelie machine. Prob gonna put a basket on back , maybe some drag bars, ha.

here is my main bike. surly steamroller powdercoated blue, full miche group, nitto b127 drops, wtb speedmaster rims, 49 x 16. i'll post a pic of my "rain" bike in a bit. hopefully the link will work.

infestedguy1 08-05-04 03:42 PM

jeez, how do you get these images smaller or just put in a link that people can click on? sorry its so big (the pic that is)

and here is my "rain" bike. its a no name ishiwata tubed frame with suzue promax hubs, salsa degaldo rims, sugino 75 cranks, profile bullhorns. i'm actually about to get a spicer track frame because this frame is too small, so i'm gonna convert the drive train and wheelset over to it. hopefully this pic'll be a bit smaller. but it probably wont.

Hey Infested, I think both of your bikes rock! I especially like the blue color on the 'roller. Nice job.

Nice bikes, I.G. Does that little black dog always ride sidesaddle on your top tube?

It's in the shop
but anyways, I'd rather ride the bus than rock a fold-up britain bike

stkim 08-08-04 01:05 PM

Here is my 80's Bianchi Super Pista. it's mostly all original Campy record pista except for the tange headset. This bike is super solid and rides like a dream.

Sure - I heard that kind of sentiment was quite common with people insecure about their sexuality.

I think the emphasis is on "britain".

stronzo 08-09-04 09:50 AM

i think, in light of his earlier statements the emphasis might be on "fold-up" :p

Whats up with this?

Youd think this thread is about people posting their fixies or something. ;)

Got a new seatpost today. Actually, got two in a row. First time got the wrong size, so I went back to the shop and got the right size instead. Great service at Johnny Sprocket's on Broadway.

Please stop posting pictures of the Basso bike - it hurts! That is one sweet bike.

Fugazi Dave 08-09-04 07:08 PM

Heh....and it's not even a track frame!

techone 08-10-04 07:24 PM

Hi, just found this forum. Guess the first thing anyone should do, is show off their ride, huh?
