I'm actually getting a different 3Rensho track bike with a non-aero crown in the next couple of weeks, so I'll take some careful pictures of that as well. |
Okay... Chimbly's crown looks totally different than the 3 other 3R crowns i've seen in person -- I've owned two different road frames, and I've seen a track frame up close as well (that wasn't mine) and none looked like that one.
I hate being wrong. |
Heres my 2nd fixie (which cannibalized my conversion). I will edit this post with better photos when i get them.

I think you should upgrade that frame protector...

http://jonnycycles.com/images/3rensh...0corwn%202.jpg k, i'm pretty positive this is my crown I found the blue 3rensho road frame on eBay a couple years ago. Very bad cosmetic condition, but it didn't have any real damage, so it was worth the paint/decal costs. I can recommend Ed Litton in Richmond, CA, for paint, restoration, frame repair and custom framebuilding. He's been around for a long time (former partner of Eisentraut, I believe) and is known for excellent fillet-brazed and lugged steel frames. I don't know if he's going to be at the show this weekend; but if you're in the bay area and thinking about a custom frame, he should be on your short list. |
really, no more crowns unless there's a bike attached to them.
thanks. |

Priceless
