gotta love flat-ass kansasadelphia.

fieldrecordings 03-20-06 06:04 PM

Looks like more in the pic. Maybe it's the top tube throwing me off.

adamkell 03-20-06 06:08 PM

it's the short chainstays that's throwing you off.

Whats with the strange locations of the bikes. A steamroller on the bed, a centurion in the bathroom. I thought about putting my bike on the stove but I think my girlfriend might kick my ass.

robx 03-20-06 07:56 PM

my bike's in the bathroom because its the only place in my apartment that gets good light at night.

sivat 03-20-06 07:59 PM

I think we should make it a trend. Too many pictures of bikes against walls, fences, trees, etc. Its time to get creative.

kennethalan 03-20-06 11:10 PM

Shants, those guys sitting down are talking mad **** about your bike. You can just see it on their faces. *****es.

That is the ebay wall, and I left the Mac, 1500 records, and sweet gios road bike out of the shot, so I would not have to agree with you when you called me hipster, because I am *****es.

Here's my GT Pulse, pictured near the peak altitude of the "Mount Hollywood" loop ride which you can find out about on LA's bicyclekitchen.com blog. Big thanks to the guy who posted the route, it is lots of fun and must for any locals or visitors.

The bike. In short, new school effects decked out as a classic gum wall tourer.

Some inherited parts-
DuraAce headset, BB
Sugino 48T + 18T cog
Suntour Superbe crankset
some noname extended stem (the extra length gives it a bit more road geometry, but hard to tell in this pic)

I inherited it set-up for a track, made these add-on's for the LA street-
IRO velocity aerohead wheelset
ruffy-tuffys
profile airwings
shimano ultegra f/b
MKS track pedals with some cheap-o clips
Brooks B-17 in green
Carradice saddle bag for survival
cant forget the tennis-ball chain tensioner (not available on e-bay)
