That is Kissena.

The road on the left is Kissena Blvd and the bottom is Booth Memorial.

My first fixie hardly compares to the works of art I've seen on this thread, but it does the job. I've been riding it for a few weeks now, and it's a lot of fun... particularly spinning my brains out on downhills.

It's a NOS Bianchi frame, IRO hubs, generic BMX crankset and ring, and no-name rims. Now if only I had a matching car to ride it into.

It's a Team 7-Eleven Huffy built by Serotta. The big plan is to send it back for a complete restore but, in the mean time it's been converted for scooting around town.

Nice, you were on the Drumbike ride. Can't wait to see that restored.

...and in my case, I ****ed it all up with heinously non-italian 105/Ultegra/Dura Ace accoutrements. (besides the stupid Tektro way-too-long calipers, ergh, they need replacing).

How do you like the scheeoschh? Good stuff.

juvi-kyle 07-19-06 01:59 PM
