i'll drop you a pm when i know the exact name, but
most likely some bars you won't find in the us. they
are (as mentioned by sivat) kind of like the nitto
promenade bars, but they have a slight rise or drop
depending on if you flip them.

Sparton frame, 3rd gen frame builder in Chile, so I am told. The name is actually stamped on the seat stays.

Wasn't planning on the Orange Tires, but they got the best of me.

I'm planning on some orange tires... what are they, and where'd you get 'em?:)

dribbler 07-12-06 04:40 PM

Shishi, nice build , orange is now my fave color, sh1t is hott, nice job, I like the paint job, where didja get it done ??

Again, nice job

littlefoot 07-12-06 05:21 PM

hey ross....

...check out Black Sheep Cycles in Charlotte....from what I've seen on da net they seem to have a pretty cool shop in the queen city. I've not ridden much in Ch'lotte but it seems pretty flat. Much like the upstate hear in SC.

Love the ross conversion...I have a lugged Ross cruiser I've adopted...been hanging in my fathers garage too long. My first 10 speed was a Ross Europa.:D

ross46x14 07-12-06 05:30 PM

Thanks... I had actually never heard of Ross until I found that frame. It seems good enough though. I plan on starting a second bike as soon as I move and I'm currently working on the wife's. I found her a Schwinn (can't remember the model) but it's a really nice one. Her bike is going to be a lot better because I have learned a lot from my first build.

I saw Black Sheep's website and it looks pretty rad. I'm excitied to get out of Indiana.

Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp are the tires. I got them at biketiresdirect.com, at least I think I did.

Drib, the paint is the original paint job from the builder.

Nice whip. I like what you did with the tape over the Campione de Monde stripes.

Specs?

Here is my GT which I posted the other day but I switched out the fork for something a bit more trick, a Kinesis Aero-bladed aluminium fork that I had lying around. The gearing is a bit too big for the city but I will be going down to 47X16 sometime next week.

I really dig that GT frame. They don't make it anymore though, do they?
