technically, if you were a real nerd you would have said something like

lim(1/x); x->0+ = ∞
seeing as the 2-sided limit is actually undefined.

:D

The difference is equal to the null set.

(Bonus Points for who sang that quote)

I stand corrected. Its been a while since i had first semester calculus. although you mean that the limit approaches ∞ since nothing can equal ∞

Whee. Van Dessel Country Road Bob. Picked it up off craigslist.

http://www.syntheticpawn.com/junk/ap...tbike/bike.jpg

Left the rear brake on from my BMX days and it's got really big cable guides on the frame for the rear. Front is gone. Dunno the cranks/pedals/etc. Gonna assume all the parts are stock of the era, although the bars I think were changed to pursuit bars, a welcome addition, judging by the older photos. I have some clips on it now. I can't skid without 'em. :(

I'd have built my own but eh, effort and I got too good of a deal on this little guy to bother doing everything myself.

Thinking about throwing on some clipless pedals and maybe a nicer saddle. Dunno how much I want to spend on it, if I want to build a pursuit for giggles.

I love these things. Make it a cyclocross bike or sell it to me!

How are these things and launching off curbs in general? Not like doing 3 foot ledges, but like just running full gallop off a curb? The frame and forks seem pretty beefy, but this is my real first "road bike" and I get nervous with how light and thin the wheels are with damage.

It's been a pretty good commuter so far, and I ran her through an alley cat even though I'm really out of shape, need to go a little higher on the chain ring size maybe.

If you've got wheels that you trust and any kind of bike-handling skills whatsoever (BMX implies mad skills) you can drop curbs with impunity. I rock an 80's conversion, and I drop curbs all the time. Wheels are stout homemade jobbies, so I trust 'em.

The frame can surely take it. My friend Dave rides that same bike in cyclocross races all around here, think foot-tall ledges and general destruction of bicycles. He has different wheels, I'm not sure if the stock ones can take it, but I'd imagine that as long as you don't run straight into anything you should be fine.

My latest and first conversion. Also my first post here, hi!

It's my dads old 80's Graecross converted to singlespeed. I still need to adjust a whole bunch of things, but I'm happy with it for now.
