Offhoff, nice track ends! Who makes them, and of what are they made?
|
They were custom made for me via a computer controlled EDM wire cutter. I might be able to make others, you'd have to provide a to scale vector drawing of whatever you want, and of course be willing to pay for machine time and materials. You can PM me if you want. They are 3/16" stainless steel and will probably see a treatment of gold leaf in the near future.
|
Uh how much did it cost you?
|
Not as much as it will cost you, but I'm the one with access to an EDM wire cutter. :)

Great answer.

Not singlespeed/fixed-related at all, but check the wheelset on the cop's bike after you deal with the foreground.

Let me first say that converting a threadless steerer tube to threaded is not something I want to do again. |

Why is Storm in the DC Universe?? That's what I want to know. That, and is she really a dude.

This is my first road bike/ss conversion. It's a Bridgestone Kabuki Superlight found at a garage sale by my friend/new riding buddy/bike-mechanic Sivat.
I was hoping that by taking off all the extra 10-speed derailleurs, shifters, etc, I'd have a cleaner look, but I seemed to have made it a bit..uglier! I'd never used drop bars so I went the safe route with mtb ones, maybe that's the problem? Here are before and after pics: ...maybe replacing the drop bars would help with the look? I would appreciate any suggestions! |
fix it!

Change to black cables, Wal-mart has a set for 5 bucks, the lighter colored ones seem to really stand out. And change your brake calipers so you can get rid of the two cable hanger/guides, The Nashbar house brand are cheap and look good. A pair of in-line cross levers might look better than the ones you have. A new seat. |
