My first complete bike build and fixed gear all in one and couldn't have done it without all the info i've gotten here. I've only had it one week but have gotten in some nice 60+ rides and i'm loving it. Front brakes and a saddle are on the way so i don't have to swap back and forth with my road bike....well not like i've even been ridding that since :).

I just wanted to thank you guys for helping me getting in to fixed gear and what stuff I needed to order here in Iceland :) It took me 9 months to get this bike together, I was researching alot before I ordered. I ordered BB and headset but it did not fit :( So I had to get new things and it took me alot of time. But the funniest thing was that I ordered a fixed gear hub but I did not know that the cog was not included. I have been riding my bike here on this windy cold island and this is my favorite bike! Here are before and after pics.... tell me what could be better on the bike exept me :) I do not know how to skid and I cant imagine how you guys do it :)

you should really have some kind of foot retention, just add clips and straps to those pedals, then you'll be all set. except for the whole no front brake deal...

I really need a front brake!!... but the stores here in Iceland dont have a brake that fits the space between the fork and tyre! Ive looked everywhere!... I need to order it :)

I really want the steel toe clips :) But they are nowhere to be found on this bloody island :p

As soon as I find a brake that fits it will be first priority. As for now I am onlys riding the bike on bike paths :)
