I was riding along on the Oak Leaf Trail...

And then I saw a sweet set of stairs....

Then I came across a sweet sculpture I'd never seen before. There was a stack of quarters on it...

Pretty much like everyone on here says... When you buy the Mercier, you're basically buying a good frameset and a decent set of cranks. The stock wheels are allright but the hubs will wear out fast. They come with a Dura-Ace cog which is sweet (They cost like $20 at my LBS).

It's a decent ride for the money... Comparable to a Bianchi Pista once you upgrade your wheels to something nicer/lighter/stronger.

me likey. i dunno, with all the hating on conversions, i ****ing love them. there's a diy thing that attracted me to fixed and that i love seeing in a conversion. that thing looks nicely put together.
