You oughta tap (pun intended) into the beer delivery market.

Retem 10-09-07 10:28 PM

I wish I would need a wholenother bike for that

el twe 10-09-07 10:35 PM

Nah, just 6/12/18/24/30-pack on the Cetma!

The new set-up looks nice, can't wait to see it in person.

the outcast is hot, flat out.

sannino...can you remove the rear wheel without breaking the chain? looks purty, but *tight*.

new track bike in a week or two
yay bikes!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the campy crank with the zen ring. It just looks weird.

what hubs are those, and how do those 1.2s perform on the track vs street?

I like your bike.

bexley 10-10-07 08:37 AM

I would f'ing love that Surly as my winter bike. That white non-machined rims is going to get marked up pretty fast by the pads though.

they're level hubs. I've never used it on the track, only on the street.
I have another pair of wheels that I use for the track.
1.2's are dreamy rims, though. Easy to build with!

Shimano Deore LX ... from the box-o-bits. With a Race Face 44T "big chain ring".

But I'm primarily a mountain biker so I would have used MTB cranks either way. They have wider pedal spacing than road cranks and I don't want to have to adjust when going from one bike to the other. I guess it's unpopular to have this opinion in this forum but I absolutely HATE square taper BB's and cranks, so it's either road crank or MTB crank.

How is the chainline with those? I've used MTB cranks for a little while, but even with a narrow square taper I had trouble with chain droppage due to horrible chainline.

krash 10-10-07 10:22 AM

chainline is perfect. of course I used a regular cassette hub wheelset so I can use spacers on the freehub to put the cog exactly where I want it for the best chainline.

Fenders may not be aesthetically pleasing, but they're awesome.

Igneous Faction 10-10-07 10:46 AM

Doesn't Sniks live in Cali?

They don't know what rain, sleet, snow, slush are. Or clouds.

Ah, so you're SS-ing it. That ride looks fun as hell.

the desert homie. 358 days of sun a year. little fluffy clouds, and snow in the mountains mostly, and really fast and furious rain storms that last only an hour max.

I own fenders, but just don't love that one. it looks like its resting on the rear wheel

Yep, that's why I never post pics of my GF on the net. Sooner or later it will end up in a dutch message board.

Those bloody Dutch!
