Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? So he showed you how to find the deer, not kill it, watch it for 4 weeks, get drunk, ride a scooter and then go back and kill it? Somehow I don't the ThrottleJock method works for anything other than... uh... somehow I don't think the TrottleJock method works for anything.

****, is the throttle jock method already a dead horse? The glue making is going ok, I'm focusing mainly on brakeless and helmet threads right now. I figure there's enough of those for 10 apocalypses even with the search function broken.

If you can tow a trebuchet with your bike, you're a much stronger rider than I am.

I was thinking Montana. Depending on where you live, a border crossing may be nigh impossible.

Worse comes to worse I'd probably ride it out on a barstool in Baker City, OR. They probably wouldn't even notice that anything had happened.

our best hope is to hold together ad build a new society, a megacity to protect us from those who;'s minds and bodies have been corrupted by the muto-agent. We will build the megalopolis. Together.

I think I might actually go to south america, somewhere warm. It should be mostly free of fallout people there are pretty good at making things work in less than ideal situations.

Oh, and we would have to breed! You know, to re-populate the earth! WE would be responsible for the continuation of the human race, think about that for a moment.

There will only be one girl in the entire society, and she's gonna have herpes.

It's Fallout 3, that's true (however, it's the work of a group unrelated to the makers of F-3). The point remains, though.

Is the broken search function a dead horse, too, or can we kick that a few more times before it becomes proverbial?

Yes.
And make a bow & enough arrows.
And shoot them accurately.
And build shelter.
And skin & butcher animals. Mmmmm, animals.

My camp is going to be awesome. Just need to find somebody with a guitar...

Chicago because it is the largest city in the Midwest. If our main objective is to re-unite America, we are all going to have to meet somewhere. East and West must link up in the Midwest. It may be 10 years post-apocalypse before we gather enough supplies and organize a movement to Chicago, but it will be necessary eventually.

As much as I love Chicago, you would want to pick a location with a more forgiving climate. That is, presupposing an apocalypse would surely dismantle a lot of the luxuries most are use to.
