Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

In the Case of an Emergency

Gasoline skyrockets to 100 dollars a gallon. The Apocalypse is here. Road warriors are everywhere. They only hope for America are the members of BFSSFG. Where would we meet? Chicago sounds like a pretty central location.

As long as I can mount some harpoon guns to my bike, I'll meet anywhere.

Bikes: bfssfg iro--black.

first we'll have to meet in more localized areas--think bfssfg northeast, bfssfg midwest, bfssfg deep south, bfssfg rockies, et cetera, et cetera.

then we can meet in more general locations

I think the last thing I would want to do in the apocalyptic times is meet up with other people from an internet chatroom...

Come on, it was only a matter of time till someone said it.

Sorry guys, I'm taking my tallbike to hook up with one of those bike punk gangs. They seem better equiped to handle an apocolypse. What would SSFG do without pink deep Vs and matching ourys?

dreadlocks are equally acceptable and require no product of any kind. If you just had to have the mohawk, aforementioned semen would work or you could just kill some horses to make your own glue.

Well, we all know there a plenty of dead horses being kicked around these forums. Grab some on your way out so you can start early on the DIY glue.

Screw you guys. If the apocalypse hits I'm on a 5,000 speed hardtail mountain bike with panniers and a shotgun saddle bag.

Get one with a fork that locks out so you can make it up a hill...

...can I be in your hardtail renegade gang?

I'm moving into a WalMart when the times comes. Enough ammo and non-explicit CDs to last a lifetime.
Golf clubs and baseball bats too, if needed.

The Apocalypse is not coming due to gas/oil prices. It is coming because of Nundies!!!

As for me it is off to the beach house. I'd just have to figure out the best way to strap the fishing poles to the bike.

True, but you have to have a gun till everyone else runs out of ammo. You just also have to be ready when it's time to switch to maces and crossbows.
