I've never even heard of BApe, and I hadn't heard anything about Ecko since high school, up until last month when that dude said he was going to brand an asterisk into the Bond's baseball. So yeah, if they make track bikes, I won't really care.

Yeah, I suspect that this is the ultimate NYC penguin-loving in-joke. Of course, no one here has really seems to care whether or not Kanye owns a track bike, so if the goal was to stoke righteous indignation, I don't think that goal's been met.

no one wins the ******** apple this time.
i read all seven pages of hate and no body said the most important thing, at least he is trying to ride a bike. if you look at hip hop/rap videos you will see that they enforced the worst aspects of consumerism within car culture. the message is to go bigger and badder to make the next guy jealous. A lot of us here are not happy with cars. How many of us hate SUV's? Has anyone here ever notice how many SUV's you see on the street closely emulate 'dub style' or street style with gigantic rims, and black windows?
if you dont believe me go here:
https://hiphopcars.com/
i would much rather have kanye on a cinelli than in a suburban mowing other cyclist down.
I would rather have a bunch of hood kids on bikes trying to stunt than trying to get on the road and act a fool.
Also, despite Kanye being an ass he is one of the most interesting conteporary rappers of our time. Anybody you will mention will probably be considered hip hop or not mainstream worthy. He is able to dumb down his music and still make it effective. Oh, what Young Jeezy is pushing the envelope? Or Young Dro?
yeah right.

^kludge got it "kinda" right.... kanye is just like, trying to be hip and "green". he looked up on google what all the hip "green" people were doing, and saw that they rode bikes. He then looked up what kind of bikes were "hip" and got one. no biggie. just another fashion fixed gearer. whatever.

Well, I don't think we'll see a car-free Kanye in the near future, but it is a step in the right direction. Now if he got his entourage to ride Pistas...

^i already do.
i live in the ghetto and kids have been coming up to me since the summer asking if i have "one of those bikes that can go backwards"?
i like it. the neighborhood bike co-op is seemingly hard at work.

cuz, ya know, hes gonna be riding his bike to the vmas and rap about ecological conservation or something instead of taking his private jet and wearing fly sunglasses.

Pfffft...
At least hes trying to ride a bike?
This guy gets his fashion tips from ****in streetwear blogs. How else do you expect this guy to know what the hell a fixed gear was?
Kanye is wack, once a trend dies, he'll stop jockin too.
Hardly see this guy in polos, sweater vests, etc etc anymore.
You know you wont see this guy riding the streets.
