Bikes: Check the sig to find out

YES if you want to ride in (eventual) comfort
I have them on all my bikes and don't want to go any other way.

I have two Brooks saddles: a ti Swift and a B17.

They feel the same.

For people who can't find a comfortable saddle, sometimes the B17 will work for them when nothing else will.

My Brooks felt comfortable right from the very beginning, except for some chafing at the new contact points between me and the saddle.

Some people say it takes 200 miles for a Brooks to mold to the rider's butt, and some people say a Brooks never gets comfortable.

I greased/oiled my Brooks a lot more than Brooks recommends, but the leather shrugs off water and snow, and feels firm but conforming.

You can't predict whether a Brooks will work or not.
You just have to try it.

If it doesn't work, you have a resellable saddle, and so it will only cost a few bucks to find out.

I think they look really goofy on more modern looking bikes, but if it's like a more old school looking bike i like the way they look.

I love Brooks saddles, I have three (black B-17, brown B-17 Narrow, green Brooks Pro) and they all feel great on the rear end, its a saddle that one uses if you actually SIT on a saddle for long periods of time, other wise you'll never know the magic of it most people buy em, ride around with them for a while and barely sit on em then say that they suck when in all reality they are great. I find them to be real comfy right out of the box but alot of riders like to break them in a bit, not something you want if you dont spend at least 80% of the time in the saddle I have seen many fg and ss's with Brooks saddles in Philly but don't really know how long they keep them on.

They don't come in white, which makes them not allowed on fixies. .

Ive heard rumor that Brooks will be putting out all of their top of the line saddles in white some time soon. So far just rumors though.

I just think a nice black or brown leather saddle on my bike would look unreal. Not to mention they are probably extremely comfortable.
