Anyone using Campy brake calipers

I have Superbe Pro single pivot brakes on my SS/FG bike now but have been wanting to get some dual pivot Campy brake calipers for a while to improve my stopping power. I use Tektro's bar-end brake levers which do not have a QR lever like Campy/Tektro road drop levers have. My current road calipers have the QR lever on the caliper itself.

I run 23c tires, so if I get the Campy calipers which do not have any QR lever on them, will I be able to get my tire out?

Does any of this even make any sense?

I run a Record front brake when I ride my Wilier track bike on the street. It is the only one I tried that has enough clearance on this particular bike. I have no problems dropping a 23 out without doing anything to the caliper, but you can stretch the heck out of your cable after installation, which then requires that you back out the adjuster to bring the pads back in a bit. This gives you enough adjustment when you screw the adjuster back inwards to give you even more tire clearance for removal. The adjuster nut ends up in the middle of its range approximately, which will give you enough adjustment as the pads wear, but enough the other way to get a fatter tire out.
The braking feel is very nice, but Mavic SSC brakes (way cheaper) have just as nice a feel, I think. I have a set on one of my road bikes.

Thanks for the reply. My rims have a very small machined area and I just wanted to make sure I did not have to pound the wheel out through the brake pads to remove my wheels. Sounds like it should work just fine. Thanks krusty. Much appreciated.
