I am 5'9" and I have a 53cm Mark V Pro. The top tube is much lower than my 52cm Bareknuckle, but the top tube length is the same. I ride my bike with cruiser bars, so it seems to fit smaller than with a flat bar, but the size is perfect otherwise. I dont ride bikes with drop bars or bullhorns, which would require me to stretch out more than I currently do, if the bike was larger, I dont think that I could reach down to the drops comfortably.

I almost went with the 56cm, but Im glad that I didnt, Im sure it would be too big for me. It seems to me that a 53 should fit you fine. I had the luxury of trying a fully built version of each size at a bike store in Oakland, Ca.

Anyone order a Mark V in the past few months? Ordered mine in June and it still hasn't shipped.

The reflection is coming from some 3M tape I picked up from ebay. The tape on the wheels is silver; the tape on the bike is black. Without the flash you cannot tell the tape is there.
The bike is basically stock, with the exception of:
Nitto Noodle Bars
Nitto Pearl Stem
Tektro Brake Levers and Hoods
Thomson setback seatpost
Currently a Specialized Alias saddle. I just couldn't get the B17 to be comfortable with the 4-5" saddle to bar drop. The saddle is still a work in progress.

EDIT: After looking at this picture, I realize it looks like I have about three feet of seatpost hanging out. This is misleading; at most there is about 7-8" exposed.

take a shot of that bike with a tripod and no flash if you have one. id like to see how that tape looks when its not all lit up.

No tripod, but no flash and I stood real still. The black tape is VERY thin [3M from ebay product] - thinner than electrical tape; the silver on the wheels is much thicker - thicker than duct tape even. I got it at a hardware store and it was cheap; it is more visible, but still not as bad as spoke reflectors [shudder].

There is black tape on the chainstay, the seat tube, and the downtube, all of which are captured in this photo.

thats a pretty cool rack. i got a basket for mine recently and love it. that rack looks super burly tho. does it have weight limit?

As for a weight limit, I think it would hold quite a bit within reason. It's not super large so don't really think you'd be able to overload it. Size wise, it's designed for a paper grocery sized bag.
