Did the the insurance check-out lady become an internet phenomenon - or are we just consuming drones?

I check her out more closely now. I'd hit it.

.

I think a lot of people hate her actually but she's pretty hot.

lugs

I just picked my alien frame from being powder coated. And the lugs are still very defined, pictures soon.

andrewro 08-04-08 10:34 PM

Good to hear, looking forward to seeing it!

Doc_Holiday 08-17-08 12:23 AM

BUMP...

Will somebody please post pictures of their powdercoated frame or complete build, I'd really like to see one in pictures other than the thumbnails provided at alien's website.

Yeah they are. But it seems to be a very slow process, as they pc them when they get them in. I'm still waiting for my 53 black pc.

the PC guy has a bunch of frames and it's up to him which colors he does and in which order so that it fits into his production schedule with other large commercial customers

So better hope you ordered john deere green or race car red

wow, now that's what i call a value-conscious operation.

****ing lame.

dmckean44 08-17-08 10:33 PM

It's especially lame if you know how cheap it is to powdercoat something small like a batch of bicycle frames.

andrewro 08-18-08 09:16 AM

If you visit the powdercoater's website, it looks like they do mainly bikes (or possibly only bikes), and the Alien colors are from their stock color chart. So hopefully it isn't a matter of them waiting on a big order in a specific color in order to push some frames through at the end.

was about to post same top one.

now that i see it in white, i think i'd really love it if it wasn't for the ****ing ugly track ends. if it had normal track ends i'd like it.

I hear so many people complaining about the track ends on Aliens, yet way more who cite the early 90's Cdale track as their all time favorite (or damn near it) from of all time. Which one has uglier track ends, you tell me.

Either way, it's not a hard job to change out track ends and not an expensive one to have someone do it for you.

beeftech 08-19-08 07:39 PM

OH NOES! ugly track ends!

shredsled87 08-19-08 09:27 PM

I just got my shipment email about my frame. I concur. The track ends are a little long. But it doesn't bother me.

jussik 08-20-08 01:38 AM

so, are you guys gonna ride you bikes, or just keep your bikes in your bedrooms and stare at the track ends while fondling yourselves?

deathhare 08-20-08 01:46 AM

lmao haha

jussik 08-20-08 01:47 AM

They are Long Shen track ends after all...

Nice, are those the Alien cranks too?

Fyi, your brake cable looks unnecessarily long.
