That Ahearne has a nice-looking frame. I love fillet-brazing, but I'm not crazy about the color or the parts selection. It ends up looking a little pedestrian to me.

Heh. That's mine. Selling it to fund another bike. Ive gotten a good offer on the frame and fork so Ill probably keep all the parts and move most of it over to a really special frame (provided that seller accepts my offer)

Sorry to see you sell it, definitely a class-act. Your next one will probably be killer too.

exactly.
usually when one flips a frame
it's for an upgrade.
I cant wait to see what this upgrade would be
over that sweet GB.

don walker's latest typeface is a bit wonky...as is his Highlander-from-Indiana logo. He really should hire a better graphic designer.

Its still not 100% sure I'll be letting it go but if it does happen I'll post up when the new project is on. I'm pretty excited about the possibility, its a little more aligned with what I'm into these days, and its a stunning frame.

the cutouts in the track ends are a nice touch. the integrated stem-bar-crossbrace setup indicates brain damage.

I thought this was the forum that glorified understatement.

I like the bike. Not too flashy, but classy.
