Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Just wondering how much strap you leave before you cut it and put the button on the end of the strap. I would say I have about 4 " of strap before the button and it seem a bit long.

it's up to you.

my feet are large so i only have an inch past the button, so 4 inches does sound like a lot.
