I am thinking of leaving strips off
but include in box; so anyone can add if they like

Or maybe going with Red/White/Blue strips

Also thinking Kilo TT style as frameset only
then Kilo WT frameset & as bike

lots of options
colors, styles, and decals

But with the Chrome - the only branding decal will be HT

Another vote for leaving off the stripes. All the colors talked about in the previous 3 pages sound amazing.

Lugged Kilo TT's with the color/chrome treatment? I'd pay an extra $100 for that, easy. I'd buy that right now.

Whaddya doin??? Sheesh. I'm still trying to figure out how to justify buying another frame to replace my brand new Kilo.

Seriously, I like the idea of the stripes--even if they aren't the WC stripes, And +1 for the HT only badge. That's the one graphic I like on the current lineup.

All solo frames should be HT only. Or use DT graphics that match the HT.

Haha! I lifted the pic from a craigslist ad found in another thread. Had to clear that up before anyone thought I owned that thing.

For anyone who may not know, Greg Lemond won the Tour de France in 1989 (with a 55/12 gear ratio!) and also had a deal with Huffy. His TdF bike, however, was a Serrota with Huffy decals. Result? World Champ stripes on a hi-ten piece of department store junk.

I agree with all of this. Burgandy, pearl white, and maybe metallic blue would be great choices. WC stripes are really cheesy on this bike, IMHO.

Full lugged frame!!!

YES!!!

Please! Full lugged frames cost a lot elsewhere! If you did a range of full lugged, with chrome paint mix I would snap up a frameset asap! I like the World championship stripes. They are a nice border for the chrome/paint. I know that it should be a world champion ridden bike, But I don't care about that stuff really. It looks sweet.

Also, Head tube only badge would be great. i am not a Fan of the Mercier written along the side. If they re-designed it then maybe it would be ok.

Did you say you were going to sell WT frames like this also? Are the normal WT frames coming soon?

That would be good

Lugs would ad about $100 to a Kilo TT frame
Chrome adds about $25 UNLESS you chrome the lugs - then we are talking another $75

I think I will look into getting some lugged steel frames for next year

At first - KILO WT is complete bike only
Frames will be after Jan 1; and I will do both ways [with chrome and without]
